The Wedding of Tasha & Alex Plough Inn, Tonbridge

The historic building of The Plough Inn and adjacent Barn were the destination of this February wedding for the happy couple, Tasha and Alex. The day went without a hitch and was the most beautiful venue for family and friends to celebrate this most special of occasions.

The beautiful venue

This venue is steeped in history with a excellent team providing the very best service throughout the day. The food (which I was lucky enough to partake in) was absolutely top notch, the kind you want to go back for again! Each personal touch for the couple was included and laid out perfectly.

Barn Ceremony

The ceremony was held in the stunning setting of the Barn with the rather fantastic Kathryn aka KPS Celebrant in attendance.

Magical Backdrop

What an incredible backdrop the barn made for the couple during the ceremony!

Cosy bar area

You can't beat a roaring fire and the guests had the bar to themselves as they retired post ceremony and post meal for further refreshments!

Tea is served in the bar...

The Bride and Groom transported these rather tasty looking desert treats all the way from their hometown in Scotland to share with their guests. Suffice to say every one was devoured!

The look of love

I think this photo speaks for itself!

The ring and bouquet shot

With the backdrop of Tasha's beautiful dried flower bouquet, stunning dress and Alex's scottish kilt and sporran. This captured the very essence of their wedding attire with the focus being on those all important rings.

More Bouquet

Let's just take another minute to appreciate the details of this stunning bouquet, with a very personal added touch. I know how much these special charms mean to brides and it's wonderful to be able to capture these details.

Ale anyone?

This rather striking pint glass and pump sporting the eye catching branding of Beavertown Neck Oil. I don't drink myself, least of all on duty! But these were rather eye catching and seemed to be going down well amongst the guests.

Special momentos

It's always great to see the guests filling in their personal messages when it comes to momentos like these. Tasha and Alex now have their very own personal jigsaw from the day.

First dance

The barn was the perfect backdrop for the first dance. And so my time spent with Tasha and Alex and all their nearest and dearest came to an end. What a magical day. It felt like attending a friends wedding as I'd been following the couple for quite some time on social media and they were the sweetest to chat to ahead of the big day. Special thanks to them for inviting me to play such an important role in their day.
